Old Business
The Club had 29 paid family memberships as 2022 ends. For 2023, 18 members have submitted their dues so far. Tom Ferguson will be removing members who did not pay their dues for 2021 and 2022 from the Club Roster and mailing list in early 2023, so if you fall into this category and still wish to receive Club information, please send your 2023 payment to Tom.

New Business
As President Standiford opened the December meeting, he noted that the Club officers will remain the same for 2023, but that will be his last year as President. Larry has been heading up the Club for some 6 years and his efforts are greatly appreciated. If anyone wants to volunteer their services as an officer for 2024, please step up.
The Club was notified last week that the Black-eyed Pea Restaurant, which has been hosting members after the Friday evening monthly meetings at Landmark Lincoln, has switched to winter hours which means dining service ceases at 8pm. This will force the Club to change its meeting schedule over the next few months as there are few alternatives for evening sit down dining near Landmark. It was suggested the Club move to Saturday meetings at 11am, but Landmark is too busy with daytime retail operations on Saturday, so returning to Café Del Sol in Lakewood (hours 9am-3pm) or seeking a new venue such as Romano’s Italian Restaurant in Littleton (hours 11am- 8:30pm) was discussed. President Standiford will be contacting these venues to see if they can host Saturday meetings. When a decision is reached, Tom Ferguson will notify the members of the location and time for January.
Later in January on Saturday the 21st, the Club will visit the Memory Lane Event Center in Highlands Ranch south of C-470 on Santa Fe. Memory Lane Event Center is a 10,000 square foot mancave loaded with 50’s memorabilia and classic cars. The second level features a vintage pinball and arcade room, a Harley lounge with a billiard table, shuffleboard and lots of motorcycle memorabilia and an HO scale train town exhibit. The ground level has a complete 50’s diner with Juke Box music and a full ice cream counter. You can also walk through the 1960’s gas station and Chevy karaoke lounge. A flyer for the Memory Lane event is attached to this email. The financial seminar mentioned will be a short, low key educational/tips presentation during the BBQ lunch with no specific products being sold. Tom Ferguson will send out an RSVP email before the event for BBQ planning.
