Old Business

The Club has 33 paid family memberships for 2021 and 1 approved non-paying membership through the meeting date.
FRMC’s 2021 Holiday Party will be held on Saturday, December 4th at The Club at Rolling Hills in Golden from 10am to 2pm and will feature the Rolling Hills Signature Breakfast buffet and selections from their Artisian Mini Dessert Bites along with non-alcoholic drinks and a cash bar setup for alcohol.  The cost to FRMC members is $18.00 per person after the Club paid subsidy.  As before, there will be an optional gift exchange and collection of donations for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.  So far, we have 25 members who have rsvp’d for the party and reservations are still available by contacting Tom Ferguson.  Thanks to Art Apple for arranging the venue when there is a lot of competition for facilities.
In Rocky Mountain Mustang Roundup news, the 2022 event will be held from June 14th through June 18th and the organizing committee has negotiated with the  Antler Hotel in Colorado Springs for rooms and covered parking to supplement the facilities, rooms, and open car and trailer parking at the Elegante’ Hotel.  The tentative schedule of events is:
Wednesday – Mountain Tour Drive
Thursday – Open Track Day at PPIR
Friday – Autocross Day at PPIR
Saturday – Show & Shine
The popular morning drive up Pikes Peak is still being organized.

New Business

Tom Ferguson asked the members to be thinking about coordinating Club Drive destinations for the 2022 driving season so that we can be more active when the weather improves.
John McNurney volunteered to hold a clinic on what to look for when evaluating an early model Mustang for purchase.  After the meeting he and Art Apple proposed holding the clinic inside  John’s home workshop immediately following the Saturday, February 12th FRMC Meeting which will be at Café Del Sol.  John will use his classic 1965/1966 transition Shelby GT350 to point out things to look for.  This should be a helpful event for all our members and I encourage everyone whose ever wanted an early ‘Stang to participate.
Before the meeting, long-time members Jack and Susan Redmond notified us that Susan has had some serious health issues which have kept them away from the Club this year.  Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers this holiday season.
The meeting was adjourned at 2:04pm.

MCA Report

President Standiford encouraged the members to try to attend some of the MCA National Shows next year, however, he acknowledged that since none of the shows are nearby (South Carolina, New York, California and Georgia are the locations) this will be harder to do than in 2021.
