Old Business
The Club has 25 paid family memberships for 2020 and 1 approved non-paying membership through October 12, 2020.
We have a large supply of Club jacket patches for sale at $5.00 and magnetic name tags can be ordered at $12.00/tag. We also now have FRMC window and windshield car stickers available for free. Gary Spencer has an inventory of FRMC ball caps for members to purchase at $18 each. Each hat carries the Club logo on the front with unique design work on the brims and side depending on the color. Colors are black, red, and pink and are available by contacting Gary at Jilspen04@aol.com.
RMMR Update: The big news is that the 2021 Rocky Mountain Mustang RoundUp will definitely move from Steamboat Springs to Colorado Springs. Colorado Springs rolled out the red carpet to our event organizers in contrast to Steamboat, and next year’s event looks like it will be one of the best RoundUps ever with 8 days of events over June 14th through June 21st. FRMC’s own Wendell Salas will be the 2021 Roundup Chairperson. New driving events added to the RMMR calendar include separate days at Bandimere Speedway, Pikes Peak International Raceway, a Cripple Creek Cruise, and the Pikes Peak Hill Climb course (Monday – Thursday). There will also be the usual Autocross Event (Friday), Banquet Night (Friday), Show & Shine Day (Saturday), and Awards brunch (Sunday). The event will be advertised in Mustang Times since attendance will no longer be constrained by Steamboat Springs facility restrictions, and the RMMR website (rockymountainmustangroundup.org) will soon have specific details on the driving/racing/social events and hotel accommodations. Registration will open the night of December 31st.
We’re still hoping Indian Tree Golf Club will reopen their facility for our monthly Club meetings, but with the Covid-19 still prevalent across the country, restrictions look like they will be in place for the foreseeable future. This means our meetings will continue to be outdoors and Chuck Warren has graciously agreed to keep hosting when needed on his back deck which allows for social separation and has beautiful views of the metro area.
Tom Kay reported on the Colorado Collector Car Council’s status from their most recent meeting. It appears there will be no Havana Cruise in 2021 and the fate of the August 14th Rocky Mountain Jeffco Airport Show for next year is also questionable. The CCCC has around $22K in cash reserves from which they need to pay $18K in 2021 to maintain the organization’s state house lobbyist who provides invaluable service to the enthusiast community. Also, the CCCC will need a new Treasurer once TK moves to California and FRMC will need a new representative to the organization for the same reason. Anyone interested in volunteering for either position should contact TK at tomkay1167@gmail.com.

New Business
The November Club Activity will be a visit to the popular Shelby American Collection on Saturday, November 7th at 10 am. The Shelby museum is located at 5020 Chaparral Court, Boulder, CO 80301 and admission is $5.00 for adults with kids free. For anyone who has never seen this museum, it is considered to have the finest collection of Shelby American Cobra and Mustang racing cars, memorabilia, and Ford GT 40 race cars in the world including the real Ken Miles Mk 2 that featured in the recent Academy Award nominated movie Ford v Ferrari. More info at shelbyamericancollection.org.
The November Club Meeting is planned to be on Chuck Warren’s backyard deck complex on November 14th at 11 am. Chuck’s address is 13496 W Center Drive, Lakewood, CO 80228. Chuck has a fire pit and outdoor heaters so unless temps are in the low 40s, this should work. We will discuss some possible winter activities including a tour of the Glen Eyrie Castle in Colorado Springs.
There will be no FRMC Holiday Dinner this year as the Club members felt the pandemic risk and finding an acceptable venue would present too many obstacles. This seems to be the general consensus for most organizations this year.
Tom Ferguson requested access information to the website Club Event Calendar so events could be added by additional people. Wendell Salas successfully provided the info for this after the meeting.
The meeting was adjourned at 1 pm.
The following list represents upcoming club or other events of interest. Times and dates will be determined closer to the events based on club input and site availability.
November 7 – Club visit to the Shelby American Collection in Boulder. See New Business above for details.
November 14 - November FRMC meeting at Chuck Warren’s home. See New Business above for details.
If you’d like an event you are interested in posted to the above list or the Club website Bullett-n Board, bring an informational flyer to an upcoming Club meeting.
Updates on future Club Meetings will be posted on the www.frontrangemustangclub.org calendar.

Treasurer's Report
The Club had $1,444.37 in the checking account with Vectra Bank as of the meeting date.
MCA Report
Sadly, the Spirit of the West MCA National Meeting in Tucson for October 8 – 11 was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic which meant the associated Board of Director’s Meeting was also cancelled. Mr. Standiford noted that the tentative MCA schedule for 2021 includes two National Meetings that could be drivable events for FRMC members. If the pandemic allows, on July 23-25 the Mustang Club of Greater Kansas City will hold an MCA National in that city and on September 3-5 the Oklahoma Mustang Club will host the MCA Grand National in Mustang, Oklahoma.
