Old Business
The Club has 29 paid family memberships so far for 2022.
Michael Bateman reported on the first Colorado Mustang Stampede which he and Melinda organized in Steamboat Spring August 19-20. The event was a clear success with 87 vehicles in attendance and strong local support from Steamboat businesses. Many pictures from the Stampede have been posted to FRMC’s Facebook page. For 2023, the Stampede has been scheduled for Father’s Day weekend which is the same weekend as the Rocky Mountain Mustang Roundup. After much discussion, it was decided that FRMC would continue to sponsor the Roundup as the Club is one of the original organizers, but members are welcome to attend either event or both as they rep`resent great opportunities to join with other Mustang owners in the Rocky Mountain area.
The day after the September Club Meeting, Club member John McNurney held his annual Cars and Guitars Party at his home on Green Mountain in Lakewood. Despite pretty constant precipitation, the turnout was strong with several FRMC members in attendance.
The final batch of FRMC polo shirts were delivered to the members who ordered them by Tom Ferguson in September. and he will trying to get them delivered before the September Club Meeting..

New Business
The cruising season is still in swing and suggestions for Fall Club Drives during the week or weekend will be publicized by Tom Ferguson as they come in. Paul Revesz provided the following suggestion.
Hi Tom, it was fun seeing everyone last night. As far as cruising during the week Jen and I are available on Mondays after 10:00. Some ideas are Deer Creek Canyon taking the back road to Conifer. It's a fun windy road that ends up in Conifer. There is a real good Italian restaurant in Conifer called JJ Madwells that is actually open on Mondays. For a longer ride we could take the road from there to Evergreen. For a northern route we could do Golden Gate Canyon or the road that follows clear creek canyon up to Blackhawk come back and eat in Golden or find something in Blackhawk?
Thanks for all your hard work!
Paul
If that idea sounds good, let’s settle on the route and pick a Monday to do it. October 10th (Columbus Day), 17th or 24th could work. Send feedback to Tom.
Dan Ryhal has once again graciously offered his mountain home in Pine for the Fall FRMC Chili Feed on Saturday, October 15th. The Chili Feed would be preceded by the Club’s October Meeting starting at 11am. Dan and Kathy Wagner’s address is 15737 Pine Valley Rd, Pine, CO 80470. Members planning on attending should RSVP to Larry Snodgrass at lesmustang65@yahoo.com with information on what food/drink they plan on bringing to the Chili Feed. Larry will pass on the info to Dan for planning the event.
We discussed possible locations for the Club Holiday Party in December. Keith Johnson said he would look into DiCicco’s Italian Restaurant on Tower Road near DIA and Larry Snodgrass would research Malone’s Clubhouse Grill in Arvada as possible candidates. Following the Club Meeting, Tom Ferguson discussed the Holiday Party with Art Apple at Cars and Guitars and Art said he thought he reserved last year’s party location, The Club at Rolling Hills in Golden, for December 10th. Given that development, Keith and Larry will hold off until Art confirms the reservation.
As mentioned above, the next FRMC Monthly Club Meeting will be held at 11am on Saturday, October 15th at Dan Ryhal’s Pine residence prior to the Club Chili Feed.
